Oliver Despins, BNN Reporter

Jared Lakin, a senior at Blue Mountain Union School shares his plans for after high school. Jared tells us that his time at Blue Mountain was uneventful. He played sports throughout middle school. Jared played baseball from T-ball to 8th grade, and he played basketball from 4th to 7th grade. Jared tells us that after graduating he is going to go right to work. His options include carpentry or working with his dad at the Post Office. He claims that for as long as he remembers he has always had an interest in carpentry. Jared’s favorite class at Blue Mountain was Creative Writing with Mrs. Nancy Kane.

Jared’s advice to the younger students comes from his senior quote by Glenn Turner: “Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but gets you nowhere.”  Jared would like to be remembered as a caring friend.
