Senior Spotlight: Kimberly Grant

Bianca May, BNN Reporter

Kimberly Grant has been attending BMU for three years. She has participated in cross country for her three years at BMU and for five years before that. Kimberly went to River Bend Career and Technical Center for Cosmetology for four years.  She is currently an active member of both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. Kimberly was also a part of the Global Explorers Club that traveled to Europe during her sophomore year at BMU.

Before moving to East Ryegate and enrolling at BMU, Kimberly attended Oxbow High School for middle school and her freshman year. Kimberly chose to continue at Oxbow for one more year so she could finish her brother’s high school years with him.

Kimberly advises students. “Never be afraid to start over, you never know what else is out there unless you try it.” Kimberly wishes to be remembered as someone who was never afraid to be herself or, as her mother would put it, as someone with a “spirited personality.”
