Youth Weekend is a time in the Vermont and New Hampshire area where young hunters get the chance to go out and make some memories. The requirement to be classified as a “Youth Hunter” is, you must be 15 years of age or younger with an active hunting license. It does not matter if the deer is a legal buck or a doe, it is fair game for Youth Weekend. The thought process behind that is to provide a better chance to harvest a deer and get the younger generation more interested in hunting.
