Blue Mountain’s Electronic Journalism class went on a field trip to the NVU Lyndon campus. The field trip started off with a tour of the school campus. Immediately after the tour, the students had a Q&A with Meaghan Meachem, Professor of Communications. After the Q&A, students got to watch the live broadcast in the studio, demonstrating appropriate studio etiquette. Students learned what goes into a live news broadcast and they saw how a broadcaster can manage mistakes when something goes wrong.  Students learned about careers in broadcasting and then made their way to the dining hall to eat dinner and then return home.
