Three local students take their annual trip to the Keystone state with their fathers to hunt whitetail deer. This trips allows them to explore a different state and its terrain. One student, Luke Peters has been going for three years now and has had quite a bit of success in Pennsylvania and so has his father, Toby Peters. Being under the age of 16 years old, the youths we allowed to harvest a buck with antlers at least 3 inches or taller. On this trip all three students — Jake Emerson, Luke Peters, and Kris Fennimore — harvested their white-tail deer in the steep hills of the Allegheny National Forrest. Luke Peters was lucky enough to draw a doe permit for the zone they were staying in.
