Mia Beck has attended BMU since preschool and provides a great example of how to be a role model in a small community.  During her sophomore year, she attended the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference, and has put her skills to work becoming the National Honor Society president and the current Student Council president.  Mia’s advice for younger students is to ” really enjoy all of the little times at BMU and truly appreciate the opportunity that comes along with being a pre-k to 12 school.”  She would like to be remembered “as someone who has found my voice and was always standing up for what I believe needs to change in the world.” Mia will be graduating as the class valedictorian, yet another great achievement for her.  Mia will be attending UVM in the fall and pursuing a nursing degree.
