saw the interview with steve blood produced by karlie blood. loved it. my name is joe sarsfield and in 1970 i hooked up and pitched as a sophmore at hinsdale high school in the class m baseball final against steve and the woodville 9. i threw a 2 hitter however steve was better and woodsvill won 2-0. i followed his career and later in life i became friends with some of his teamates in keene nh. ron pierson, mike gioreud, and wes paige. small world.
