River’s Edge is a VT and NH soccer club recruiting kids from local schools around Orford, NH. The team consists of athletes from Rivendell, Thetford, Woodsville, Hanover, Lyme, Oxbow, and Blue Mountain. Five students from BMU are currently playing this year including Cedric Schaefer, Ronin Moulton, Addison Sanborn, Mathew White, and Felicity Sulham. One of BMU’s high school science teachers, Jennifer DeBois is a coach for the girl’s U14 team for River’s Edge. Ms. DeBois says “River’s Edge has grown a lot over the years and this year we especially have a lot of interest and a large group of kids.” Each season, River’s Edge students have the opportunity to learn skills and practice for when they return to their school teams in the Fall. In addition, players get to participate in games with other competing teams and develop a bond with each other.
