On Friday, April 21, Blue Mountain’s High School Student Council hosted its second Fun Friday. The student council organizes these events in order to give students a break from their everyday classes and to allow each class to earn points in preparation for Spring Fling. Friday’s activities included a Just Dance group follow-along, nitro-ball (a variation of volleyball), and a rock-paper-scissors hula hoop race. Each class had the opportunity to earn points for their grade by participating in the activities. The dance-off was full of laughter, with students letting loose and showcasing their dance skills. The juniors won the rock-paper-scissors game, while the sophomores took the lead in the volleyball game. Currently the sophomore class has the most points in the lead-up to May’s Spring Fling.
