After more than three years in Groton, Sarkys Smokehouse, a family owned business, is moving from Groton to Wells River, VT. ErinLiegh Hand, co-owner of Sarkys, is excited for the new opportunities that the larger restaurant will provide, including the new dining room seating just over 100 guests.
Hand is looking forward to making more of her own BBQ sauces and adding more dinner choices to their menu. Sarkys will keep customer favorites such as burgers, brisket and pulled pork, as well as continue to offer take out and catering. The new restaurant will have a pool table and a saloon area serving beer, wine and alcoholic beverages.
Hand wants to keep Sarkys, “Kid and teenager friendly, because family is important to us, as well as having a place that’s comfortable.”
