Ms. Calen Reed is a Special Education teacher in kindergarten and first grade.  Ms. Reed grew up in Vermont before she began teaching.  Ms. Reed taught a few third-grade classrooms and a few special Ed classes down in the Cape.  She transferred from Boston to Blue Mountain to teach.

Ms. Reed’s favorite part of teaching is working with the kids directly, coming up with different activities to do, and seeing them grow throughout the year. “I grew up in Northfield, Vermont and recently moved back into the area,” she said.  “I chose BMU because they were the first school to contact me and were very welcoming and made it feel like home.”

One of Ms. Reed’s goals is to meet everyone, make more friends, and be a part of the community. She stated, “I want to build relationships with the students.”
