Wells River VT – Wednesday night, the 7-11 Bucks welcomed the 4-13 Stowe Raiders to the Dr. Harry M. Rowe Gymnasium. The Bucks beat the Raiders 41-28. The Bucks started strong, scoring 18 points compared to the Raiders two points. They managed to keep it together in the second quarter, maintaining their position ahead of the Raiders with an 18 point lead. Kason Blood, scoring 13 points in the first half.
The Bucks struggled in the third frame, with the Raiders scoring more points than in any other quarter with 10 points, while the Bucks only scored four. In the fourth quarter the Bucks were able to pull it together with a final score of 41-28. The high scorers for each team were BMU Junior Kason Blood who scored 19 points throughout the game. For Stowe, Carter MacDonald ended with 10 points.
