Cedric Schaefer is a senior at Blue Mountain Union who has attended since preschool. Schaefer has played soccer and basketball all through the years at BMU. One of his favorite memories is “5/6 grade basketball with Mike when we won the Rivendell Rip Up [elementary tournament] and dominated everyone in 5th and 6th grade with the fellas.” Schaefer’s 11th-grade year, he began attending Diversified Agriculture at River Bend Career and Technical Center. Currently, he’s working at Darling’s Auto Repair through the River Bend Co-Op program; where his current project is restoring 1950s Chevy truck chassis. Cedric’s advice for the younger students is to “enjoy the younger days; they aren’t there forever.” After high school, Schaefer would like to pursue restoration and collision repair. Schaefer hopes to be remembered for being a hard worker.
