Abby Emerson began at BMU her freshman year of high school. In the little amount of time she’s been here she has joined the student council, become Vice-President of NHS, and is a student representative on the school board. She has fond memories of mentoring younger students here at Blue Mountain. Emerson wants to be remembered as “a student with strong academic and community values, but most importantly, I want to be remembered as ‘Ms. Abby.’” She wants the younger students to “Never stop believing in yourself. Always reach for your goals, no matter the obstacles you may encounter on the way. ” Abby plans to attend college and pursue her dream of becoming a special educator for elementary students.
