According to Green Up Vermont's Executive Director, Kate Alberghini, “It is a fun piece of artwork that shows our 55th anniversary achievement well, and we can see the care taken to make it.” The poster reminds the community to pick up trash on Green Up Day, May 3, 2025.

Middle School Testing Starts

Blue Mountain middle school students, fifth to eighth grade, started state testing on April 10, 2024. Signs are posted outside the classrooms in the middle school hallway to remind others to be quiet.

River Woods is a junior in high school. They attend both Blue Mountain and River Bend, where they are taking the health science program and will graduate with their LNA. They hope to go to college and pursue a career in nursing afterwards. They currently work at Sarky’s Smokehouse as a waiter. They enjoy playing games and cuddling with their cats.
