Last night in Wells River the Blue Mountain Bucks defeated the Richford Rockets with a score of 2-1. Senior striker, Jacob Dube started things off for the Bucks with a goal late in the first half assisted by fellow classmate, John Dennis. Both teams proved to be strong defensively, resulting in 1-0 Bucks lead at the half. Junior, Evan Dennis stated, “Our defense played strong all throughout the game which ultimately resulted with us coming out with the win.” Freshman Mid, Kason Blood notched the Bucks second and final goal mid way through the second half. Forward, Aske Greve finished the scoring of the day with the Rockets’ lone goal late in the second half. With the win, the Bucks progress to 4-3 on the season, and will travel to Winooski on Friday, October 1st.
