Isabel Hand has attended Blue Mountain since sixth grade. During her freshman year, she was a member of the Forensics team. Currently, Hand is the President of the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA), a member of the BMU Band, and a student representative for 302 Cares. Izzy would like to be remembered as “Someone who would show up for others.” Even though Hand entered BMU in late elementary school, she “managed to make a place” for herself. Hand’s advice to younger students is to “live in the moment because you don’t realize how quickly time passes.” After graduation, Izzy plans on going to college to study Psychology.
