Jacob Emerson has attended BMU his entire academic career. In his free time away from school, Emerson runs his own small beef farm. For Jacob’s senior year, he chose to attend all of his remaining classes online, allowing him to work full time. Emerson has a full time job running a grapple skidder for his dad’s company. Emerson wants to be known as the guy who was hardworking and dedicated to his jobs. Jacob’s advice for younger students is to “Stay in school, and don’t try to rush out of it.” Jacob’s plan for after high school is to remain in the workforce and continue farming and logging .
