About the Contributors

Izzy Hand, BNN Staff
Izzy Hand, a senior at Blue Mountain Union, is new to the BNN staff. As an involved member of the school, Izzy spends her free time running Blue Mountain’s Gender-Sexuality Alliance as well as serving as a Teen Lead for 302 Cares. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and working at her parents’ business. After high school, she plans to study Psychology at a four year college.

Jessica Pinette, BNN Staff
Jessica Pinette, a devoted senior at BMU, is a first year reporter at BNN. She attended BMU since preschool and always excelled academically. She miraculously balances all of her extracurriculars: National Honor Society, Silver Fins swim team, band, theater, GSA, and even scuba diving! On top of that, she works as an experienced lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor at Evergreen Sporting Center, and an unlicensed comedian 24/7. After graduation, she hopes to obtain her bachelors degree and possibly a masters in marine biology and research all things sharks.

Madisyn Christy, Social Media Editor
Madisyn Christy is halfway through her last year at Blue Mountain Union, and she has reported for BNN for three years.. An avid animal lover, she spent last summer training as a veterinary technician. Outside of work, she enjoys complaining to her boyfriend and spamming her best friend’s phone. In her free time, Madisyn can often be found at her favorite spot, Dunkin’ Donuts, though she rarely manages to make it to school by 7:30 a.m. Known for her sharp wit, Madisyn is a skilled complainer—just ask her soccer coach, who will happily share plenty of stories.
