Senior Spotlight: Gavin Tellier

MaKayla McNerney, BNN reporter

Gavin Tellier has been a student BMU since kindergarten and has really enjoyed his time here. Gavin’s favorite memory was his middle school class trip to Cape Cod. Gavin mentioned that his favorite part of the trip was falling into the ocean and shopping in Provincetown. He played soccer in middle school for about two years. Gavin has also played football at Oxbow since his sophomore year. After high school, Gavin plans to join the Marines, take college classes while in the service, and work his way up to the high ranks. Gavin has dreamed of going to the Marines since he was about 7 years old. Gavin is excited to graduate, although he is going to miss the students in his class and from other grades.

Gavin has a little advice for the younger students. He says, “Be social and make lots of friends. Don’t let people be mean to you and don’t be mean to other people.” Gavin wants to be remembered by his artwork at BMU, especially the large mural in the middle school/high school hallway.
