Thanksgiving Baskets

BMU community members Michelle Kalnins and Tracy Puffer started organizing the assembly and distribution of Thanksgiving baskets 15 years ago.  The Thanksgiving baskets are donated to help families in need in the BMU community. This year, Kalnins and Puffer are helping nine families, but in the past, they have helped up to 15 families. They receive donations from BMU staff and local businesses to put together the food for the baskets. Student Council President Mia Beck and Vice President Gabby Houghton lead students after school to prepare the pies and rolls to go with the baskets.
