The River Bend Heavy Equipment program has made a much-needed upgrade to the gate for the equipment. The old gate was bent, broken and did not swing very well so it was time for a replacement. The new gate was designed and welded together by seniors Connor Daniels, Ethan Smith and Ricky Fennimore. These new gates are not only more functional but are built stronger in hopes for long lasting use with no issues. Not only was this project very much needed, it was also a lesson in geometry where, if you were off by a fraction of an inch, it would throw off the whole structure.
