Ava Kingsbury, BNN Staff
Ava Kingsbury is a first year BNN reporter who is a junior at Blue Mountain Union School. Since starting at BMU freshman year, she has loved to take pictures, play basketball, softball, and soccer. Kingsbury is known for her outgoing personality that includes, the craziest outfits on spirit weeks, sitting on the side of the court taking photos, and being filled with unnecessary laughter. She has impressed the student council with her great ideas since freshman year and still continues to. Sophomore year she signed up for the yearbook committee because of her love for photography hoping her photos could make a difference. Kingsbury has a supportive crowd behind her, given her family being just as determined as she is to set her mark and make it places in life. Outside of school, sports and work Ava loves her Dunkin Donuts runs and hanging out with her friends and boyfriend!
Landon Houle, BNN Staff
Landon Houle is an outgoing BNN junior reporter who has only been at BMU for two years but sure has made his mark. If he’s not listening to music, he is out playing sports or spending time with family and friends. Landon is quick as lighting on the baseball diamond, taking the threes that are free on the court, and now, as a first year soccer player, slicing through defenders on the field. Landon lives everyday knowing that “A miss, is a chance to improve” even when he doesn’t make every shot, it’s the courage it takes to shoot it. His supportive family always holds him up high and is there to catch him if he falls. Although he isn’t the tallest of the bunch, younger kids look up to him as an inspiration, and he never fails to make them happy. Landon loves to go with the flow with each new day, and as an inspirational man once said, “If you wake up for the day, that’s already a win.” Even though he acts silly, he excels in school, and his mom is always on him to do his best. At the end of the day, Landon enjoys every new opportunity he gets.
