Bucks Defeat Panthers in Boys Varsity Basketball

Friday night in boys varsity hoops, the Blue Mountain Bucks traveled to Thetford Academy and came home with a 49-37 victory. Both teams battled it out for the majority of the contest, but the Panthers couldn’t overcome the Bucks’ early lead. For the Bucks, junior guard, Evan Dennis led the way with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Fellow classmate Ricky Fennimore tallied up 12 points and 9 boards for the Bucks. The Panthers’ freshman forward Boone Fahey earned himself 11 points while sophomore forward, Mitchell Parkman tallied 9 points on the night. Thetford Academy drops to 1-1 on the young season and will host the Windsor Yellowjackets on Wednesday, December 22nd. While the 2-0 Bucks will face the Woodsville Engineers at home on Thursday, December 23rd.
