Mackenzie Carle has been at Blue Mountain Union School since preschool and is now a senior. During her years at Blue Mountain, Mackenzie has participated in cross country, softball, cheerleading, Riverbend, and Hospitality Club. She has been a member of the Cheerleading team for eleven years and has been a captain for the last four years. She has been in the Health Science Program at Riverbend for the past two years and plans to continue on the health science track in the future. Mackenzie says she is proud of how much she has accomplished through her participation in cheerleading. This includes being a member of the All-Star Cheerleading Team that travels to places like Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. She has also marched with cheerleaders from across the country in the Spirit Spectacular Disney parade in Florida twice. During her high school experience, Mackenzie has been on the honor roll each quarter to date. Mackenzie works part-time at Grafton County Nursing Home and loves helping the residents. In her free time, she loves listening to music and helping the Groton Community where she grew up. In the fall, Mackenzie will attend Norwich University, where plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Mackenzie doesn’t have any specific advice to give younger students; however, she wishes to be remembered for being kind, considerate, and hard working. She has enjoyed her time here at BMU and hopes that every student here can have the experience she did.
