WELLS RIVER- Last night in boys varsity baseball, the Blue Mountain Bucks hosted the Woodsville Engineers for the season opener and came out with a 6-0 victory. Junior Evan Dennis started on the bump and earned the win for the Bucks, going five innings, allowing no runs, no hits, striking out ten batters, and walking two. Dennis also played a huge role offensively with two doubles and two RBIs. Seniors Cameron Dennis and John Dennis each put in a two-base knock for the Bucks.  Sophomore Owen Murray threw the sixth inning for the Bucks, walking three and striking out one while allowing no runs. Fellow sophomore Cameron Roy closed the game, walking one and striking out one, while allowing no runs. Mike Hogan started on the hill for the Engineers, going four innings; he struck out five, walked three, and allowed three runs.
