Avery Nelson has attended Blue Mountain Union School since we was in pre-school. He has participated in various clubs and extracurricular activities including middle school soccer, hospitality club, acted in the school’s production of Mary Poppins, and he landed the role of Willy Wonka in the production Willy Wonka Jr. Due to Covid-19, the production was canceled, however Avery spent many days rehearsing for his lead role. One of Avery’s fondest memories is his time spent in Spanish 1 with Mrs. French during his freshman year. The class made many fun projects that he enjoyed working on.

If Avery could give advice to younger students, he would say, “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” If you know Avery, you know that he is a fun, music-loving person who care deeply for his friends. He would like to be remembered as “that kid that’s obsessed with Taylor Swift. At the moment, Avery is unsure of what college he will attend in the fall of 2023, however he plans to study theater.
