Danville- Tuesday night the Bucks took a trip up I-91 to face the 3-8 Danville Bears. The Bucks would come out on top with a score of 19-0. The Bucks sent senior Ricky Fennimore to the mound.  The southpaw would fan three, walk two, and give up no runs for his second game of no-hit baseball.

The Bucks tacked on two in the first inning and immediately shut down the Bears’ attempt at offense. The Bucks cooled off in the second only scoring one. Fennimore continued to deal on the mound as the offense found its stride scoring four in the 3rd and three in the 4th and nine in the 5th.

Blue Mountain’s offense has been unstoppable lately with the Bucks combining for 11 hits and 10 walks. The Bucks truly took the meaning of nothing runs like a deer to heart, swiping 11 bags. This is the 11th game this season the Bucks have won by way of the mercy rule, continuing to roll through the division 4 competition. Two big tests are coming up as the Bucks will face cross-river rival Woodsville this Friday, May 19th at the Woodsville Community Field; followed by a game against division 2 powerhouse Peoples Academy on May 23rd.
