Kaylee Hillesland has been attending Blue Mountain since kindergarten. Kaylee has been an excellent artist throughout her high school career. She has been on the cheer team since 2016 and was a part of the volleyball club her sophomore year. When asked about how she would like to be remembered she says, “I would like to be remembered as an artist.” Kaylee’s advice for younger students is to”…get involved in their own future as soon as possible and put effort and energy into things that are important and lasting instead of focusing on things that won’t matter in a few years.” In relation to this advice, she plans to go to the University of Southern Maine in Portland, and get an apartment nearby after high school.
