Blue Mountain Union School’s budget for FY25 has passed by 19 votes. The final total for Article 1 was 182 votes in favor and 163 against, and Article 2 passed 247 to 94. High school principal Emilie Knisley says that “We are appreciative of the community for supporting the school, and the students, and the good work that we do.”
River Woods is a junior in high school. They attend both Blue Mountain and River Bend, where they are taking the health science program and will graduate with their LNA. They hope to go to college and pursue a career in nursing afterwards. They currently work at Sarky’s Smokehouse as a waiter. They enjoy playing games and cuddling with their cats.
