Lance Zornes will be a 2026 graduate of Blue Mountain Union, and has attended here since August 2022. Lance has been involved in boys basketball and baseball, Global Explorers in his Sophomore year, and the Spanish Exchange his senior year. Lance’s favorite memory throughout his time at BMU was traveling to the Dominican Republic and Spain with his classmates. Outside of school, Lance enjoys snowboarding, playing basketball, and hanging out with his friends. After high school, three things on his bucket list are: Travel all over the world, climb multiple mountains, and help animals. The advice Lance would give is “Be involved as much as you can, you won’t regret it.” Lance has committed to Castleton University, majoring in Resort and Hospitality Management at the Killington Ski Resort.

Jacob Roberts, Sports Editor
Jacob Roberts, a junior at BMU, is a second-year member of the BNN staff. He is a three-sport athlete who plays baseball, basketball, and soccer. He is co-captain of the basketball and soccer teams. When he is not on the field or court, he is working as a member of the Student Council and Athletic Leadership Council, making him a very busy guy. Outside of school, Roberts is a man of many hobbies, from chasing long beards in spring to pursuing a wall-hanging worthy whitetail in fall. On winter weekends, Roberts also finds himself snowmobiling with friends and family. He lives at home with his parents and his sister. After high school, Roberts plans to be a plumber.
