Nyx Desrochers, BNN Staff
Nyx is a junior in high school, and this is her first year at BNN. She runs with the varsity cross country, but that clearly wasn’t nearly enough for her as she writes songs and sings music. She has barely been playing chess for a year and already she has won two tournaments. The past week before school, Nyx volunteered at a camp for girls who lost a parent, trying to help those in need. Nyx is also studying to become a cosmetologist at River Bend, but the best thing about her is she loves spending time learning new things.
