Braden McLure will be a 2026 graduate of Blue Mountain Union, and he has attended here since pre-school. Braden has been involved in baseball since he was in kindergarten, basketball during his senior year, and Student Council since sophomore year. The activity he especially enjoys is baseball because it is the sport he has played since he was a little kid. His favorite high school memory is when the baseball team won three championships in a row. Outside of school, Braden enjoys snowmobiling and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Braden plans to attend a 4-year college, majoring in construction management. Three things on his bucket list are: travel to different countries, move out of state for a few years, and build a workshop to work on vehicles. The advice Braden would give underclassmen is “Get your work done as soon as you can, so you can focus more of your time on having fun.”

Jacob Roberts, Sports Editor
Jacob Roberts, a junior at BMU, is a second-year member of the BNN staff. He is a three-sport athlete who plays baseball, basketball, and soccer. He is co-captain of the basketball and soccer teams. When he is not on the field or court, he is working as a member of the Student Council and Athletic Leadership Council, making him a very busy guy. Outside of school, Roberts is a man of many hobbies, from chasing long beards in spring to pursuing a wall-hanging worthy whitetail in fall. On winter weekends, Roberts also finds himself snowmobiling with friends and family. He lives at home with his parents and his sister. After high school, Roberts plans to be a plumber.
