Juliana Dow will graduate in 2026 from Blue Mountain Union School, where she has been a student since preschool. Starting in 10th grade, she became involved in chorus and theater, gaining experience both on stage and backstage. She joined the theater class in her junior year and added band during her senior year, showing her continued commitment to the arts. Academically, Juli has excelled, earning honors and high honors throughout high school. She was recognized for outstanding achievement in technology as a freshman and attends River Bend Career and Technical Center, for the cybersecurity class, where her excellence earned her acceptance into the National Technical Honor Society, with induction planned for March. Outside of school, Juli enjoys a variety of hobbies that reflect her creativity and personal interests. She likes gaming, crafts, and music – particularly learning to play her drum kit and singing. Her bucket list includes visiting haunted places, attending more concerts or festivals, and making her own music. Her goal of making original music reflects her adventurous and artistic nature. She describes herself as artistic, creative, and technical. Juli will miss BMU’s art and music programs, which gave her opportunities to develop her talent, express herself, and connect with others. Through chorus, band, theater, and art-related activities, Juli has found a sense of belonging and hopes to be remembered as someone who truly valued these programs and contributed positively to them during her time at BMU. The creativity, confidence, and memories she gained through the music and art programs will remain some of the most meaningful parts of her school years. Her advice to give underclassmen is “failure doesn’t mean game over. It means try again with more experience. Success is a process; every attempt brings you one step closer to your goals.”
