Dylan LaCasse will be a 2026 graduate of Blue Mountain Union, and he has attended here since 5th grade. Dylan played basketball for 5 years and soccer for his senior year. The activity he especially enjoys is basketball because it’s his way of getting away and calming down when things are stressful. His favorite high school memory was when he and his friends got to hang out and do fun things. Outside of school, Dylan enjoys playing basketball, hanging out with his friends, and being with his girlfriend. If he had one wish it would be to “go back and try harder.” The three words that best describe him are: truthful, loyal, and passionate. After high school, Dylan plans to go to college for architecture and eventually move away from Vermont. In 10 years, he sees himself as an architect with his now girlfriend in a beautiful home that they designed. The thing Dylan will miss the most about BMU is being close to his friends. If there was one way he could be remembered at BMU, it would be by a good basketball player and a good friend. The advice Dylan would give underclassmen is to “focus on yourself, try hard, and don’t get distracted by other people’s problems.”
