Karli Blood has attended BMU since preschool and has played a huge role inside and outside of the community. Karli is a three sport athlete and engages in various extracurricular activities like band, chorus, theater, the Athletic Leadership Council, and the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA). Karli is also the president of BMU’s National Honor Society, Student Council and Vice President for the class of 2024. Karli’s advice for younger kids at BMU is to “Listen to your heart. Whether it’s music, sports, art, or something else, do it. Your time at BMU is short, so spend the days that you have doing what you love.” She would like to be remembered “as someone who inspired others to be brave and chase their dreams.” Karli plans to go to college and get a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, and hopes to one day become a teacher following her passion of working with kids.

About the Contributor

Kennedy Perrigo, Managing Editor
Coming to BMU to start her eighth grade year, Kennedy dove right into the many extracurricular activities the school offered. Currently, she is a member of the Student Council, National Honors Society, and Yearbook Committee. Not only focused on academics, Kennedy plays on BMU’s soccer and softball teams. From a young age, Kennedy has always played hockey; she carried that passion with her to BMU and became the only high school student to play for a varsity hockey team, the Kingdom Blades. When not on the field or waiting for the Zamboni, you can find Kennedy hunting, fishing, hanging out with friends, snuggling up with her French Bulldog, Boone, or avoiding her brother whom she likes to call her ‘Bother.’
