Kahlen Smith has been attending BMU since pre-school and was home-schooled during her freshman year of high school. Smith was a part of the volleyball club in the spring of her sophomore year, and is a part of BMU’s GSA (Gender Sexuality Alliance) club. Kahlen describes her time at BMU as a great journey, “I made lots of great friends and made lots of great memories that I will cherish as I start my journey after graduation!” Smith would like to be remembered as someone quiet and free-spirited. Smith’s advice for younger students would be to “keep pushing yourself even when things get hard.” Smith’s plan after graduation is to study animal sciences and follow a career in that field.

Matt Webster, Editor in Chief
Matthew Webster is a senior in high school; this is his second year working with BNN. He loves to play guitar and spends a lot of his free time jamming; the fiddlin' never stops. He also loves rock music and spends a lot of his time listening to that particular genre, especially while driving his car. If you couldn't already tell, Matt would love to pursue music after high school and make a career out of it.
