Katelyn Mae Joy will be a 2026 graduate of Blue Mountain Union and has attended here since kindergarten. Katelyn played trumpet in the 4th grade and has studied Agriculture at Riverbend Career and Technical Center during her junior and senior years. The activity she especially enjoys the most at Riverbend is Sugaring Season because she likes learning new things, like managing the arch. Her favorite BMU memory is when she was hanging with friends in science class and playing with rulers that went flying across the room. Outside of school, Katelyn enjoys four wheeling and hanging out with her grandpa. The three words that best describe her are: energetic, outspoken, and passionate. Katelyn is especially proud of the personal progress that she has made this past year. After graduation, Katelyn plans to join the work force. The advice Katelyn would like to give underclassmen is “don’t rush it; take your time with what you are doing.”
